Buying at the Casa is simple and exciting; here's how:


Registration

1.

Fill out the Registration Form

2.

Submit your form at The Casa on the Preview Days or by emailing us at [email protected]

3.

Receive your auction catalogue.


Browsing

LET US HELP YOU FIND THE PIECE YOU WANT

1.

Come to our viewing and see the wide range of pieces we have.

2.

Pick up one of our beautifully made catalogues and get any information we have regarding each piece.

3.

Browse through our online catalog.


Bidding

AUCTION PROPER

Come to our live auction & experience the thrill of bidding against someone for the piece of your choice.

TELEPHONE BIDDING

1.

Download the forms here and submit them at the Casa or by emailing us at [email protected]

2.

Our dedicated phone operators will call the client once the lot is up for bidding and they may bid through the phone while we in the room honor their bids.

ABSENTEE BIDDING

1.

Download the forms here and submit them at the Casa or by emailing us at [email protected]

2.

Place an absentee bid at least 24 hours before the sale and we will bid on the item for you.

3.

Submit a maximum bid and we will adhere to that, the auctioneer will bid for you.


Paying &
Picking Up

1.

Casa de Memoria accepts Cash, Cheque and Bank to Bank Transfer as well as EPS payment. Payments using Paypal are accepted. Please contact us for more details.

2.

Payment is due up to five (5) working days after the auction day.

3.

After your cheque clears the item is ready for pick up or we can schedule a delivery by appointment.


Other
Services

APPRAISALS

When you consign you with us, you would have to pay a fee per item to get your price appraised so that you as a client would know the value, and as an auction house would know how to sell it for you.

CLEANING AND RESTORATION

We also have in house cleaning and restoration teams who are able to offer cleaning services or consultations on how to care for your piece.

For consignments, we may recommend cleaning or restoration of your item depending on its condition, at an additional fee for optimal performance during the Auction.

BENEFIT OR PRIVATE AUCTION

A private event auction maybe held at The Casa for personal collections, or invite-only auctions for high-value collection. If you would like to hold an auction for the benefit of a foundation, and advocacy or a cause, The Casa also offers its hosting services at the showroom.

SHOWROOM AS A SPACE

We are also open to hosting events in our space, e.g. gallery events and other events related to arts and culture. For inquiries, please contact Palacio de Memoria.
